Widow On the Hill (lifetime movie)
This weekend, my mom and I were bored so we decided to watch Lifetime. We came across this movie called, "The Widow on the Hill." This movie was about an upper class family that is destructed when the the wife and mother dies from cancer. While in hospice, the father comes across a fairly attractive women who was caring for his wife. When the wife dies, the two immediately become companions, getting married and moving in together. The daughter however, senses something is up and question what this women really wants. Does she want to be loved or is she in it for the money? This women starts sleeping around and it one day caught by the daughter and she reports to her father. When the father finds out, he immediately dumps the women. Since the women has connections to the hospice and the medicines, she poisons the man and kills him. She then wants the body to be cremated to get rid of the evidence but the daughter won't allow it. In the end, they find morphine in his body. I was most frustrated because the man signed everything over to this women and left nothing for his daughters. The women was never found guilty because there was never enough evidence. If everything in this movie is true and it is a fair representation of the women, then I think she is guilty no matter what. If you ever get a chance to watch these movies on lifetime, I strongly recommend it.
